I saw the first DragonBall movie and it looked interesting, though not up to the expectations, but I liked the actors, who have tried to face the characters in anime, but was it seems that the screenwriter and director is have not much inspiration because the fans are not very happy with this adaptation of famous manga.
Still do not think we should so severely criticized this movie because it is actually a introduce order to start the story of DBZ. If you don't like James Wong (the director from the first movie) we have a great news for you, there are rumors that next movie: DragonBall: Reborn will not have the same director.
If you miss the movie, below we present an interesting scene deleted from Dragon Ball first movie:
About the cast and crew we may say that in Dragonball Evolution 2, we expect to see many characters from the previous Dragon Ball movie: Emmy Rossum is playing Bulma, James Marsters Lord Piccolo, Justin Chatwin is Goku and Jamie Chung is Chi Chi.
Overall, the actors are answering the high expectations of playing the anime characters from the manga series. On the other hand, we must realize that it is somehow hard to find the perfect human fitting the complex personalities displayed in thousands of pages. The best advice is that while watching Dragon Ball 2, to try abandoning the mindset of the manga series and to give a chance to the movie as such.
In comparison with the previous movie, the team of Dragonball 2 is slightly different, but with positive results for the final result of the movie. The project team behind the dragon ball is expecting to obtain a highest profit than at the previous movie.
Thus, the producers aim to charm the audiences from Asia, most specifically China, Japan and South Korea, in addition to the difficult audience from North America and Europe. In the last two cases, the negative perceptions may be the result of a lack of familiarity with the characters and the story in general. Obviously, the producers and actors had a very difficult task in satisfying so many types of audiences.
